努力が報われていないと思っている人へ。
To those who don’t think your effort is not rewarded.

それでも努力するしかないのです。
Even so, you must continue making effort.

努力しながらチャンスを待つしかないのです。
You have to patiently wait the opportunity finally coming to you.

その努力は報われるのか？
Will your effort be rewarded?

…………………必ず、報われます。
…………………definitely.

問題は、いつどこで報われるのかわからないことです。
The problem is you can’t tell when you will be rewarded.

では努力がなかなか報われない場合、どうすればいいか？
So, how can you do when your effort seems to not be rewardedat all?

…………………人のせいにしなさい。
………………… make it someone else’s fault.

君の努力の結果に気づいていない、まわりの人間がいけないのです。
It’s people’s fault that they don’t notice your effort.

NMBで言えば、金子が悪い。剱持が悪い。関根が悪い。
As for NMB, that’s Kaneko’s fault, Kenmochi’s fault, Sekine’s fault.

つまり、秋元が悪い。
Ultimately, it’s my fault.

もちろん、これ以上努力のしようがないくらい努力した場合ですよ。
Of course this only can be true when you’ve tried the best of your very best.

「この人たには見る目がない」と思いなさい。
Just think “Those people just can’t get it.”

実際、僕は

今、スターになっている人を２０人くらい、
I rejected about 20 people who now became stars in auditions or rejected offers to produce them, or just can’t get interested in them.

オーディションで落としたり、プロデューサスを断ったり、クリエイターとして興味を持てませんでした。僕の目は節穴です。
My eyes are not perfect. It’s not the judgement of god.

いや、みんな節穴なんです。
Nobody is perfect.

きっと、自分の能力、努力をわかってくれる人がいると思えばいいんです。
So you can believe there’s someone out there who understands your ability and efforts.

もちろん、今は学業に専念して何年かして
Of course it’s alright to focus on your study for several years,

、また、NMBのオーディションを受けてみるのもいい。
and then, when you’re ready, challenge yourself by auditioning once again for NMB.

胸を張って、「私は努力した。これからも努力する」と宣言しなさい。
Throw our your chest and say “I’ve made efforts and I will continue to do so!”

人生はマラソンなんだ。
Our life is like running a marathon.

短距離走ではない。
It’s not a sprint race where things happen instantly.

原みずき、頑張れ。

前田敦子の卒業発表が大々的に報じられている時、研究生鈴木里香がひっそりと卒業した。学業に専念するためだ。
While whole media reports are on Atsuko Maeda’s graduation, trainee Rika Suzuki graduated from AKB to focus on her study without any kind of media attention.

前田も鈴木も、まだ、マラソンの途中。
Both Maeda and Suzuki are still on the course of marathon.

ゴールは遠い。
The goal is still far away.

それぞれのペースで走ればいい。
You just gotta run the marathon at the pace you think is best for you.
