Probably all of you out here knows that crazy Harlem Shake thing.
But did you know meanwhile in Japan, completely different stuff goes viral, and it all started from high school girls? (and yes, Harlem Shake wasn’t popular among Japanese at all. It just didn’t fit Japanese taste.)
It called “Kamehameha” or “Makankosappou” – popular techniques used in legendary Manga series Dragon Ball. Kamehameha is used by, of course, Goku and Makankossapo is used by Piccolo.
Soon after it went viral in Japan thanks to Twitter, people outside Japan joins the craziness.
They, perhaps Americans?, gave it a new name, Hadokening (though because Makankosappo sounds way catcher – especially for Japanese people – they didn’t abandoned the original name *BUZFEED miserably failed in this sense)

Makankosappo, Hadoken or Kamehameha…. whatever, it’s obvious this is not exactly what real Makankosappo is like…
@mkpiiii9 マカンコウサッポウと少し違うけどすごいです!笑

“This looks a little different from Makankosappo, but I think this is totally awesome! LOL”
That’s it! Everyone admits the original naming is a little different, it sounds super catchy and the fact a high school girl knows this complex word from Dragon Ball makes things way funnier!
And on April 15th, this fads finally hit NMB48.
