JKT48 Launches Fortune Cookie In Love Single

JKT48 launches their new single Fortune Cookie In Love at JKT48 Theater on Wednesday, August 21, 2013. This is their third single and it’s a bit special because it is launched on the same day as the Koisuru Fortune Cookie launching by AKB48 in Japan.

JKT48’s Fortune Cookie In Love is performed by senbatsu members from Team J and Team KIII. Haruka Nakagawa (Harugon) is the center in this single. When asked about her feelings about being a center, Haruka replied in Indonesian, “I’m very happy. But it’s hard. I have to dance very well. I have beautiful, I have to be thinner. Everyone is looking at the center girl.”

The theme of the song is 80’s disco style. The choreography was designed simply so that fans can dance along. “You can do the dance with your colleague at the office to relieve stress,” Melody shouted from the stage during the flash mob session with the journalists.
