WrapUp: SKE48 Nagoya Dome Concert – Day 1 and Day 2 Report

After the pretty slow day 1 opening of acoustic version of Kamigami no Ryouiki, day 2 setlist decided to take on a wild ride with Escape as its opening performance, Azuma Rion on keyboard and Ishida Anna on drums.

As if granting the wishes of the soon to be graduates of SKE, Satou Seira and Mukaida Manatsu, old team KII went on stage with Ai no Kazu, in their old costume.

Finland Miracle that day also received the biggest Manatsu call ever that it was said it sounded more of a roar than anything else.

If you think fanservice of Koutei no Koinu is only the cute dog ears accessories for the girls, wait until you see the next step of the fanservice the girls gave: performing the song with dog ears, dog tails, in SAILOR uniform… on unicycle!!

The MC for today was SKE chronology, presented as monologue by Jurina, who then proceed to sing Ogoe Diamond in acoustic version solo.

And surprise! The girls performed songs from other 48 group and even Nogizaka 46!
They had Nogizaka46’s Oide Shampoo, NMB48’s Kamonegix, AKB48’s 10nen Zakura, and HKT48’s Melon Juice!

Galaxy of Dreams turned out to not only be a tie up unit made for the well known Korean brand cell phone, but is also a song title performed by the (duh) Galaxy of Dreams commercial senbatsu members.

As for the encore… lo and behold! The fans project for sea of orange penlight was an enormous success!!!

And not only for the encore, the penlight changed colors for every team song:

Orange for Team S, Red for Team KII, Green for Team E, and Blue for Kenkyuusei. So clearly wota’s project for Nagoya Dome didn’t go in vain that day.
