48G fans, it’s that time of the year again!

We hope your wallets / bank accounts / credit cards / secret stashes are ready for the 40th Single ( title still TBA, will be released on the 20th of May 2015 – preorder from CDJapan here ) since as we all well know, the voting tickets for the upcoming 41st single Senbatsu Sousenkyo will be included in the 40th single.

The official site for the 41st Single Senbatsu Sousenkyo has been made live just a few hours back.


Continuing the system that we implemented in 2013, this year we will still be implementing the 「Self-Nomination System」 where members have to register themselves as a candidate during the nomination period to be able to be nominated & receive votes.

Members who fulfill these criteria below are eligible to register:

  1. Current members of AKB48 / SKE48 / NMB48 / HKT48
    All current members as of 20th of March 2015 are eligible ( thanks to ラウラ for the correction )
  2. Former AKB48 members who are now a full-time member overseas
    ( applies to Nakagawa Haruka & Chikano Rina )
