AKB48 37th Single Senbatsu Sousenkyo Details

It’s that time of the year again folks…

We hope your wallets / bank accounts / credit cards / secret stashes are ready for the 36th Single ( title still TBA, will be released on the 21st of May 2014 – preorder from CDJapan here ) since as we all well know, the voting tickets for the upcoming 37th single Senbatsu Sousenkyo will be included in the 36th single.

The details regarding the upcoming Sousenkyo was announced on the AKB48 Official Website and Official Blog on the 22nd of March, and as follows:

Continuing the system that we implemented last year, this year we will still be implementing the 「Self-Nomination System」 where members have to register themselves as a candidate during the nomination period to be able to be nominated & receive votes.

Members who fulfill these criteria below are eligible to register:

Members of AKB48 / SKE48 / NMB48 / HKT48
Members who have announced their graduations up to 22nd of March 2014 are not eligible
Former AKB48 members who are now / will be a full-time member overseas
( applies to Nakagawa Haruka & Chikano Rina )

* the new team formations announced during the Grand Reformation 2014 will be used in this Sousenkyo

※ Positions available in this year’s sousenkyo

33rd - 48th	Next girls
49th - 64th	Future girls
65th - 80th	Upcoming Girls ( new addition! )

※ Members’ self-nomination period

31st of March 2014, 16:30 (Monday) – 6th of April 2014, 23:00 (Sunday)

※ Voting period

20th of May 2014, 10:00 (Tuesday) – 6th of June 2014, 15:00 (Friday)

※ 37th Single Senbatsu Sousenkyo @ Ajinomoto Stadium

7th of June 2014 (Saturday)
