Kobetsu Handshake Event Report presented by AKB48 General Manager Togasaki Tomonobu

I will do a virtual tour from the entrance up until you shake hands with the members for those of you who have never attended a handshaking session in Makuhai Messe before, or are not quite sure how to navigate themselves!!
Firstly, this is the entrance.

Right after you enter the event venue, you will be greeted by people lined up sideways.
This is the area set up by fans who are volunteering to collect birthday message cards that will be delivered at the member’s birthday celebrations.
Please stop by to write one if you have time!

There are two entrances that go into the venue.
Some doors are for exit only, so please use the correct one.

This is a giant event which is held in a combined space of three large halls. Total over 80,000 visitors are expected to come per day.

When you go down the stairs, we have hand sanitizers. We have one set at the entrance of each lane, so please use it properly.

We have various information pinned up in the lanes.

We designed many free spaces in the event venue.

Please take your garbage home.

There are information boards on the venue so you can easily proceed to the lane that you want to visit.

I will be in the General Managers room for a while from now.

I will continue on with the guided tour for the handshaking session.
Today, let’s pretend that we are going to shake hands with Oshima Ryoka.

At the reception in the lane, we will ask for the following:
• Receipt for the CD (Packing Slip)
• Event ticket
• Photo ID

The member will be waiting for you at the end of this row.
Everyone lining up tends to get excited at this point, which also makes you naturally smile too!!
Many people seem to be wondering what to talk when they meet the member, but the majority seem to say “I am always cheering for you”.

Though I know this is a reporting for you, somehow my heart has started pounding.

Now, you will hand your ticket to the staff standing right outside the entrance of the booth and await your turn.

Please follow the staff as they escort you saying;
“It is almost time”
“It is very soon”.

And yeah, my turn is very soon….

Ohhhh.
By the time you are done shaking hands and about the leave the room, you will notice that you cannot help but smile.
