One of the biggest endorsement for AKB48, Asahi beverage’s “Wonda”. Recently Senbatsu members for the brand’s spring campaign in 2013, “Wonda special Cafe Au Lait” are unveiled!!

Perhaps this comes as no surprise, though……

Basically, ANRIRE (Subunit consists of 3 young generation members, Iriyama, Kawaei and Rina) + familiar faces.

The cafe au lait has special package themed on Sakura, and each can bottle has one AKB member on it’s package.

The product will hit shelves on April 16th in Japan.

The cafe au lait has two different pacakge designs per member – 2 X 13= total 26 different packages

Wonda special cafe au lait X AKB48 (190g) will be sold for 120 yen.


So why this is a big deal? One single biggest reason why this endorsement is really important for AKB48 is, because this brand is huge. And choosing AKB48 as PR face of the brand is a BIG HIT ever made by the company.

The WONDA X AKB48 campaign carried out from 2011 to 2012, we received many applications and supports from customers.

Thanks to you all, Wonda brand reached the total sales of 40 million cases (contains 30 bottle, perhaps) in 2012 – increased by 105% from the last year’s number –

The driving force of the brand is “Wonda Morning Shot” (whose PR face is AKB48 members). This is ur first brand that sold over 40 million cases in one year.

We will continue to partner with AKB48 and will launch various new campaigns.

This “Pop Up Pirate X AKB48” is our 5th campaign feat. AKB48 (skip).


The thing is…… where will this Cafe Au Lait be sold. If it’s at convenience store, then we may put our hands deeper in beverage coolers to find the one with your Oshimen’s face on it……
