The Misleading News Article about SPR48 from Sports Hochi (Yomiuri Shinbun)
To all the Fans
It has been reported in one of the media that in 2015, AKB48 will be creating a sister group, SPR48, in Sapporo.
It is with a very heavy heart that I have to inform everyone of you that there has not been any plans regarding this.
At the moment, we are trying our best to increase AKB48 group’s fanbase in Hokkaido, even if it’s just 1 person – but it is our hope that someday we will be able to have an official theatre in Sapporo, along with plans to create SPR48.
Please keep supporting AKB48 Group from now on.
