Mariko Shinoda Lead The Runway In The Opening Of GirlsAward 2012 Spring/Summer

Japan’s largest fashion & music event “GirlsAward2012 Spring/Summer” has kick started at Tokyo Yoyogi indoor gymnasium on 26th May. Fashion brands including Avan Lily, produced by Yukina Kinoshita, Loveless, Aoyama-based brand, and total over 100 models joined the show held today.
The show started with the stage with the show by fashion house Guild Prime as Mariko Shinoda coming out the stage, walking, holding flag of Guld Prime’s logo.

This year marked the 5th anniversary of GirlsAward Spring/Summer. The event welcomed diverse faces from models including Rina Fujii, Mirei Kiritani and Reina Triendl to TV personality and former member of Morning Musume Mari Yaguchi, to artists including Miliya Katoh. K-pop music act Wonder Girls, who come to Japan for the first time, also made an appearance.

Rady, the fast growing Japanese fashion brand joined GirlsAward for the first time this year. The brand featured J-pop tunes in their show, including AKB48, Momoiro CloverZ and Ayumi Hamasaki.
