Shibuya Fashion Festival Extends It’s Reach To Taipei, Taiwan

Fashion Event, Shibuya Fashion Festival will be held in Taipei from 14th April for the first time. As it’s Japanese event, which just ended, during this event, fashion retail in Taipei will extend it’s opening hours to late at night. Also it will be welcoming guests from Japan, renowned stylist and designer, Takashi Kumagai to present his styling featuring item from local fashion brands and shops.

Shibuya Fashion Festival is run by H.P.France, Japanese boutique which mainly covering stuffs from France, and it’s held twice a year, Mar and Oct, coming at the same time of Tokyo Collection week. This Mar, about 250 shops in Shibuya offered special items for thsi event, and joined nightout event, which they extended opening hours to night time. There also were dressing up of Hachi, the symbolic dog sculpture honoring the dog, and fashion show held at Yoyogi park, which is located in between Harajuku and Shibuya.

This Taipai event is named “Shibuya Fashion Festival in Taipai”, and wll be hold for one week from 14th to 22th April. 30 of Taipai shops will join nightout event (only for 3days from 14th to 16th), and Japanese stylists including the famous name, Takashi Kumagai will present show featuring items of local brands on 14th. Taipei also will have some pop-up retail of Japanese fashion names.

The event is expecting to welcome 5,000 people.
