Idol Sousenkyo Including AKB48, KARA, Momoiro Clover Z, Shojo Jidai

Almost solely because of this month’s sensational fight against Nogizaka46, Sashiko ranked the top

IT company Biglobe are hosting “Saikyo (=ultimate) idol general election” on it’s homepage titled Twipple Trend from yesterday, 22th May. This election includes not only AKB48 and it’s sister groups’ members but other idol groups such as Momoiro Clover Z, KARA, Shojo Jidai. Participants of the election are total 421 members from 23 groups.

Ranking of this election is determined by the company’s analysis on twitter to examine who are trending on the social media. Users can also directly vote for their favorite idols through the website by tweeting.

There are several sections in this election, namely General section (総合部門), which is determined by names and nicknames of idols included in tweets, Kawaii section (可愛い部門), names and nicknames of idols plus the word Kawaii, Beautiful section (きれい部門),  names and nicknames of idols plus the word Kirei, Kakkoii section (かっこいい部門), names and nicknames of idols plus the word Kakkoii.
